Cllr Matt Sellwood proposed a motion supporting the Sustainable Communities Bill.  The motion was passed with the unanimous support of all Councillors present.

Cllr Sellwood said, “The Sustainable Communities Bill will enable Councils to promote local services and local economic activity as well as implementing measures for protecting the environment, social justice and local democracy.”

The Council will now write to all Oxfordshire MP’s asking them to sign Early Day Motion (EDM) 641 in support of the Bill.
