'Chris Goodall is particularly interested in climate change. His book on individual responses to the threat from global warming 'How to Live a Low-carbon Live' has been very well reviewed in the professional and general press. The New Scientist called it 'the definitive guide to reducing your carbon footprint'. He has recently appeared on television (Money Programme, Dispatches, BBC World) and on radio (Radio 4, Radio Oxford) discussing the topics in the book. He writes a monthly column for the Independent on Sunday on business and climate change. His book is shortlisted for the 2007 Clarion award for non-fiction. He works as chairman of software company Dynmark International and as a member of the UK Competition Commission. Locally, Chris is very well known as a community activist. He is involved in the management of his local community centre and the neighbourhood environmental group. He is active in the campaign to protect Radley Lakes. His particular focus is in helping the Town Green proposal and assisting local people affected by the legal injunction.
